What you NEED to know to ROCK THE HILL this Thursday!

As many of you know, ROCK THE HILL 2011 will be taking place in just two days on the beautiful Citadel Hill.

There are a few things that music fans will need to know in order to enjoy the show to its fullest.

The show takes place JULY 14TH and gates open at 2pm.

Read below for some important info.

THE SCHEDULE:

Times are subject to change.

10:00am: Will Call/Box office opens
2:00pm: Gates open
3:00: Death Valley Driver – Clash of the Bands winner!
3:45: Matt Mays
4:45: Protest the Hero
5:50: Seether
7:20: Coheed & Cambria
8:50: METALLICA!

THE WEATHER:

Thursday’s weather is currently showing a mix of sun and cloud, a high of 21 celsius and a small chance of showers. (Environment Canada)

MORE V.I.P TICKETS NOW AVAILABLE!

A limited number of VIP Tickets are again availible for purchase at a cost of $199.50 at RockTheHill.ca

THE CAMERAS:

Q: Are cameras allowed?
A: Personal (point and shoot) cameras are welcome but professional cameras are not permitted. Professional cameras include any with removable or zoom lenses and SLRs.
Anyone attempting to record (audio/video) the performance or transmit it via any means may be prosecuted.

THE NO-NO’S AT THE GATE:

NOTE: There will be plenty of food/beverages on site.

1. No cameras or recording devices
2. No cans or glass bottles
3. No chairs, strollers or umbrellas
4. No fireworks
5. No alcoholic beverages
6. No narcotics unless prescribed and in the container marked with the item and name of the holder.
7. No camping equipment, barbeques, or open fires
8. No knives (including pocket knives), chains or weapons of any nature
9. No food or drink products unless for medical reasons
10. No coolers
11. No bicycles, skateboards, roller blades or scooters

TICKET INFORMATION

Q: Where can I purchase tickets?
A: VIP & General Admission Tickets are available online at www.rockthehill.ca, and via telephone at 1-877-569-7767 and General Admission Tickets are also available at NEEDS Convenience Store locations in the Maritimes. * Please note that VIP Tickets are NOT sold at NEEDS Convenience Store.

Q: What is the difference between a
General Admission Ticket and a VIP ticket?
A: VIP ticket holders enjoy special privileges including:
Separate Access into the park located on Sackville Street.
Access to the front of the stage.
Your own washroom facilities.
Your own bar.
There is a limited amount of VIP tickets sold.

Q: Is there seating in the VIP area?
A: There will be no fixed seating in the VIP area, only in the designated rest area.

Q: I ordered tickets that are to be picked up at the gate. Where is the pickup location?
A: Pre-ordered tickets are to be picked up at the Will Call located at the Ahern Avenue entrance.

Q: To pick up my pre-ordered tickets, what do I need?
A: Bring the confirmation number that you were given as well as photo ID. Your confirmation number is not a necessity but it will speed up the process.

Q: When will the Box office and the Will Call be open and where is it located?
A: The Box office and Will Call will be open at 10am prior to the gates opening. Will call will be located in the Box office on Ahern Avenue.

BANK MACHINE?

Q: Will you have a Bank machine on site?
A: There will be cash machines on site, however it will be inside the event grounds and not accessible for those who need money to purchase entrance tickets. We highly recommend you bring enough money for your entrance, some food and beverages and any other purchases you might want to make. Our gate, food vendors and beverage tickets are cash only. Vendors of memorabilia MAY accept other forms of payment.
