Kip Moore’s Room To Spare Tour Was a Hit in Charlottetown!

It was a night of great country music on Prince Edward Island Saturday night as a sold out crowd at Charlottetown’s famed Confederation Centre of the Arts gathered in it’s intimate setting.

First up was Edmonton, Alberta’s own Livy Jeanne. She hit the stage with only her guitar and her voice to wow the Charlottetown crowd – and wow she did! With a blending of her own tracks such as “Wrong for you,” and “Easy On You” in addition to a fantastic cover medley of tracks such as Nelly’s ‘Ride Wit Me,” Tal Bachman’s “She’s So High” and John Michael Montgomery’s “Sold (The Grundy County Auction Incident)” she had the crowd entertained and singing along!

Kip Moore hit the stage next. A successful veteran of the Cavendish Beach Music Festival already, concert goers were excited to see his return to Prince Edward Island. However, this time the setting was much different. The setting this time around was not a massive stage with a big, loud band backing him. This time concert goers were given a different side of Moore. It was as if they were sitting in an intimate setting beneath stars as they listened to a great storyteller tell the story of their life, all the while performing hit songs in an acoustic fashion. Throughout the night, Moore talked of his family, his early beginnings in Nashville and how his hard work and determination lead him to his recording contract with Universal Music and to those who were there – the rest is history! He had the crowd singing along to his hits all night with his like “Reckless,” “Crazy One More Time,” “Hey Pretty Girl,” and “Somethin’ Bout A Truck!”

It was no secret that there truly was a mutual love and respect between Kip Moore and is Island fans. I have a strong feeling that Atlantic Canada has not seen the last of him, either.
