There is a lot of buzz going around as to what major concerts will come into the region in Summer 2011. With many factors, such as Halifax not hosting a show, and Magnetic Hill rumoured to no longer be allowed to host concerts, we don’t know what will unfold as summer comes.
Now however, there is talk that maybe the whole Moncton thing was a hoax, and the city, as well as an unamed promoter, are definitely in talks to bring U2 to Moncton, conversation thats happened for years. Many anonymous but very reliable sources have pointed to this date.
July 30th is a Saturday, and lines up perfectly with a date in Pittsburgh set for July 27th.
While an early, and totally unconfirmed rumour, I think It’s totally worth talking about, as U2 is the next big act on many of our lists.
