The show is taking place July 3rd on the Charlottetown Waterfront.

The fun doesn’t stop at the Charlottetown SummerFest! Saturday night will feature an all-star line-up of some of Canada’s greatest talents! Bachman & Turner will take to the stage with a show stopping performance of some of their greatest hits!

Bachman & Turner
After many years of gentle prodding by music fans and industry aficionados, Randy Bachman and Fred Turner, two giants of rock n’ roll, are finally back together after being apart for over 20 years.
The men at the heart of legendary band, Bachman-Turner Overdrive, are set to tour again as full-throttle rock machine, Bachman & Turner. A studio album, set for release in fall 2010, will be stocked with great new tracks – all penned by Randy Bachman and Fred Turner – that seamlessly fit among their classic rock anthems.

Rounding out the show will be Atlantic Canada’s heroes Great Big Sea. With up-beat, toe-tapping music, Great Big Sea will bring a smile to your face and a song in your heart.

Great Big Sea
Born and raised in „the far east of the western world‟, the lads have traversed the globe, all the while wearing their hometown on their sleeves. “Our music is of Newfoundland,” explains McCann. “It would be impossible to do what we do if we were from anywhere else. Our songs come from the sea and the cliffs and the rocks and all the other natural beauties our country provides. Without her we simply couldn‟t exist.”

Once ticket prices are live, I will post them.

What do you think of the lineup this year?
