George Street Fest reveals 2015 line up with something for all; On sale tomorrow

George Street Festival in St. John’s have announced their line up for 2015, with something for everyone from classic rock to new rock to hip-hop.

Opening this year’s Festival will be iconic 80s rockers Gin Blossoms who will take to the stage in Prince Edward Plaza on Opening Night presented by Bud Light, Thursday, July 30th, with support coming from The Northern Pikes.

Nightly performances will feature artists and bands that appeal to a wide variety of genres and tastes; from local favourites Shanneyganock, to classic rockers Trooper, to the melodic folk music of City and Colour and Canadian hip hop icon Classified. As tradition dictates, our annual Lamb’s Nation George Street Kitchen Party will feature a number of crowd favourite Celtic bands, including Masterless Men and the legendary “Man of a Thousand Songs” Ron Hynes who will headline a full day of traditional music on Saturday, August 1st.

ickets for the 2015 George Street Festival will go onsale Saturday, May 2nd at noon at participating North Atlantic Petroleum Orange Stores in the Metro St. John’s area or by purchasing online at www.georgestreetlive.ca.

In addition, April Wine has already announced a show for Canada Day, and you can get tickets at the link above if you haven’t yet.
