Pop-rock group R5 will perform in St. John’s June 30th.

“For much of 2012, the band honed its performing chops, headlining sold-out club shows in Chicago, Phoenix, Toronto, New York among others.  “There’s something cool that happens when we’re on stage together,” Riker says.  “There’s nothing more fun in the world.  We meet the entire audience after the show, and we love our fans.”

Victoria Duffield will support the St. John’s show.

“In 2010, at only 15 years of age, she caught the attention of Warner Music. A year later, they released her debut single “Shut Up and Dance” to resounding success. The track earned platinum status for sales in excess of 120,000 and was the most played song at radio by a Canadian artist for nine weeks. The video for “Shut Up and Dance” earned Victoria a Much Music Video Award nomination and reached No. 1 spot on the station’s Top 20 Countdown. ” the release said.

Tickets for this show are $39.50, $49.50 and $59.50 including tax plus service charges and will be available beginning at noon on April 9th at Mile One Centre box Office, by phone at 709-576-7657, or online at www.mileonecentre.com
