Salmon Festival goes back to it’s roots, reveals John Fogerty as 2015 headliner

Salmon Fest will return to it’s rock n’ roll roots for 2015.

Organizers with the 2015 Exploits Valley Salmon Festival today announced that John Fogerty will headline the July 11th show at Centennial Park as part of his “1969 One Extraordinary Year” tour.

As the legendary frontman of Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fogerty has written classic rock staples such as “Bad Moon Rising” and “Down on the Corner”. He has also seen an incredible solo career with smash hits “Centerfield” and “Rockin” All Over the World” among many others expected to be performed at Salmon Festival.

This marks a return to Salmon Festival’s classic rock theme that we have seen with acts such as KISS, Aerosmith, The Eagles and The Tragically Hip. In 2014, the festival invited a younger crowd for acts such as Maroon 5, and Virginia to Vegas.

This edition of Salmon festival will be an all ages event.

The opening undercard, as well as ticket information is expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned to ACR for the latest updates on Salmon Festival 2015!
