February has come and gone, but many great concerts have been announced and gone on sale that you may or may not have missed:
Journey:
The Rock greats announced early in the month that they would be touring Atlantic Canada this summer with stops in Moncton, St. John’s, plus an outdoor show at Dartmouth’s Alderney Landing.
Tickets for this show went on sale last Friday, and already, St. John’s is sold out.

Counting Crows:
Fans have waited quite a few years for this spectacular rock band to announce a full Canadian tour, and that time finally came on the exact same day as Journey. The band will play indoor shows in Halifax, St. John’s & Moncton this May.

AC/DC:
For nearly three years, fans have been wondering the fate of concerts on Magnetic Hill. The great news is they are finally back! AC/DC has announced that they will bring their “Rock or Bust” World tour to Magnetic Hill on September 5th over the Labour Day weekend. Following the announcement, Moncton hotels booked up within an hour for what is sure to be one “hell” of a concert.

Daniel Tosh:
Comedy isn’t our usual beat on ACR, but we knew we had to tell everyone that Daniel Tosh, one of today’s coolest comedians was bringing his tour to Halifax in June. Boy, were we right. What started as two shows on June 11-12 has now turned into four, one after the other on those days, at 7:00 and 9:30 each time. The show is $61 per ticket and being held at the Rebecca Cohn. Very few tickets are left.

Roger Hodgson:
Many years ago, Supertramp toured the world as one of the most popular rock bands of the 70s, and 80s. Today, Roger Hodgson is touring the world singing these songs as “The Legendary Voice of Supertramp”. Roger will play shows in Moncton and Halifax, both in their respective Casinos. If you think this is a show not to miss, you are “Bloody Well Right”.

Rod Stewart:
Just this week, British Rock Legend Rod Stewart announced that he would be playing two Atlantic Shows in July. The first stop is at the Cavendish Beach Events Centre July 9th, followed by a stop at Confederation Hill in St. John’s.(Which will feature Blue Rodeo. Many VIP options in Cavendish have already sold since the show went on sale Feb 28th, so get your tickets! St. John’s goes on sale Thursday.
