Today is a big day for fans of the Exploits Valley Salmon Festival in Grand Falls Windsor Newfoundland.
The town officially revealed that the festival will take place July 9th-13th, with the outdoor concert taking place on Saturday July 11th, with GFW Day taking place on the 13th.
A “Major headliner” was promised for 2015, as well as that the date is cast in stone.
“We felt that it was important for us to establish the date so that people can make plans for the summer. We have just secured a major headliner, so the date is definite.” – Darren Fill, Chair of the 2015 event stated in a release.
Support acts are being negotiated and a full line-up will be announced in the near future, the release concluded.
The Salmon Festival has seen acts such as The Eagles. Maroon 5, The Tragically Hip and more grace the stage in past years.
