David Wilcox adds St. John’s date to East Coast run

Brand Concerts today announced that David Wilcox will perform in St. John’s NL at the Holy Heart Theatre on August 9th.

“Wilcox has been a fixture on the Canadian music scene since 1970  when he replaced guitarist Amos Garrett in Ian & Sylvia Tysons Band, Great Speckled Bird. Wilcox went on to back other artists such as Anne Murray, Carl Perkins and Charlie Rich before going solo in 1973

Wilcox repertoire includes hits such as “River Boat Fantasy”, “Laying Pipe”, “Do the Bearcat” and many more.” Brand Concerts & Events said in a press release.

Tickets for the show go on sale at 10:00 AM on Friday June 6th at Holy Heart Box Office, by phone, 709-579-4424 or on-line at www.holyhearttheatre.com.

The St. John’s show announcement comes on the heels of news that Wilcox will rock Maritime fans at the Dutch Mason Blues Festival.
