Organizers gathered with fans at the Lower Deck to unveil the line-up (and have a few pints of course!
The 2014 Weir Rockin’ festival will feature a slew of Canadian rock favorites, with Colin James doing the headline honours. Directly supporting James will be Rik Emmett best known as a member of legendary Canadian rock band Triumph. Halifax Favourites Ten Mile House will warm up the crowd.
The festival takes place at Weir Field in Upper Sackville NS on August 23rd.
Tickets to Weir Rockin 2014 are expected to go on sale in June via the Ticket Atlantic network. It is expected that the festival will again utilize shuttle service to bring fans from Sackville/Bedford.
Formed in 2006, Weir Rockin’ has seen its share of spectacular acts including April Wine, Trooper, Chilliwack and more.
