Rock fans have “No Excuses” but to be at box offices this weekend.

Legendary American Rock Band Alice in Chains will be touring the Maritimes from August 26th-27th.

The group will first perform in Moncton at Casino New Brunswick on August 26th, followed by Halifax, rocking the Metro Centre on the 27th.

Both shows will begin at 8pm, with support from The Pack A.D. This will be the group’s first tour of the region.

“ALICE IN CHAINS is touring in support of Grammy-nominated album, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here, which entered Billboard’s Top 200 Chart at No. 2 and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Alternative Albums Chart, Top Rock Albums Chart, Hard Rock Albums Chart and iTunes Rock Album Chart. The album’s first two singles, “Stone” and “Hollow,” both hit No. 1 on the rock charts, with their companion videos racking up more than 5 million combined YouTube views.” concert promoters Evenko and Live Nation said in a press release Tuesday morning.

Tickets for the Moncton show go on sale this Saturday, April 26 at 12 noon. Tickets are $71.78 (including tax and applicable surcharge) and will be available at the Casino Gift Shop (located at 21 Casino Drive in Moncton, exit #450 off the Trans-Canada Highway), by calling 1-866-943-8849 and online at casinonb.ca/casino/ and evenko.ca

Tickets for the Halifax show go on sale this Friday, April 25 at 10 a.m. Tickets are $49.25 – $74.25 (including tax and applicable surcharge) and will be available at the Halifax Metro Centre box office, by calling (902) 451-1221 and online at ticketatlantic.com and evenko.ca
