ACR launches all new, faster website just in time for peak concert season

Atlantic Canada Rocks today unveiled a new website with a simple, faster experience for fans.

“We thought that it was crucial to simplify our website experience providing faster, easier access to items such as ticket links for high demand shows. The number one request was to make this information more accessible, faster.” says Cole McLean, founder of Atlantic Canada Rocks.

Several design elements of our campaign sites for RUSH and PEARL JAM have been brought back to the main ACR homepage while continuing to include staple features such as the “Featured Posts” slider which plays a huge role in the website for fans.

Also included in this revamp is a new floating social bar that makes it easier to share the latest concert and ticket information with your friends. W/e are also adding Pinterest and Google+ support today.

The new web portal also utilizes responsive design, which is a new web standard that allows a page to scale to the device it’s on, such as a smartphone.

These updates, and many other small refinements come on the heels of our just- celebrated 4th anniversary and in advance of the highly anticipated concert and festival season which includes shows such as Black Sabbath, The Band Perry and the just announced Shania Twain show which goes on sale March 7th.

“2014 is an exciting year for the entire industry and we are excited about what’s to come, we thank our amazing readers for their continued support and can’t wait to share the latest contests and concert announcements with you” concluded McLean.

Readers are encouraged to navigate the site, explore the new features, as well as upcoming shows. Feel free to leave comments on the new design below.
