The Band Perry to headline Nashville Nor’east May 23-24th in Sydney NS

Organizers with the Nashville Nor’east Music Festival in Sydney, Cape Breton NS have announced their first headliner for the inaugural event, ountry music legends The Band Perry.

The concert will take place on May 23rd at Centre 200 in Sydney NS. The festival has been moved from it’s original May 16th-17th dates to May 23-24 in order to accommodate the group’s touring schedule.

“The Band Perry was on our wish list from day one, so we’re thrilled to confirm them as our first headliners,” states Terry Smith, Nashville Nor’east’s Marketing Manager in a press release. “This will be their only show in the Maritimes and it’s the first time they have performed in our region.”

Fronted by Kimberly Perry and rounded out by her younger brothers Neil and Reid, The Band Perry has notched a string of hit singles, including the quadruple-platinum “If I Die Young” (which climbed to No. 1 on Billboard’s Country and AC charts), the platinum “You Lie,” and the Country No. 1 “All Your Life.”
