Reasons to visit Prince Edward Island in 2014(more than just the music!) (VIDEO)

“PEI2014” is getting ready for full swing.

Tourism PEI this week published an excellent video outlining just a few of it’s plans for the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown Conference. Video embedded below.

The clip makes mention of music festivals such as Cavendish Beach Music Festival, Festival of Small Halls, and teases the massive Canada Day celebrations yet to be announced, which is expected to include the 2014 Big Red Music Festival.

Also covered are Island customs such as golf, beaches, and Anne of Green Gables in a hilarious, informative matter.

PEI will also host East Coast Music week from April 2-6, although it was not mentioned here. ACR will be providing full coverage of the week on PEI.

For more details on PEI, please visit http://tourismpei.com, or as Stompin’ Tom would put it “You can dial Prince Edward Island, it won’t cost ya none, 1-800-565-7421.”

Stay tuned to ACR for all of the details as further PEI 2014 music events are announced. Also share this story with your friends so they can see the video!
