Halifax Lawyers will “ROCK for Dimes” this Friday night!

On Friday November 1, 2013, many local amateur musicians will once again take up their rock instruments to battle for the title of “Halifax’s Best Band” and raise much-needed money for Nova Scotians living with a physical disability. Over $150,000 has been raised to date by March of Dimes Canada at this annual rocking event in Halifax. Last year’s event at the Cunard Centre was the biggest Rock for Dimes events across Canada and in March of Dimes Canada history. We’re hoping the 8th year will make it even bigger and better!

This year’s costume-musical theme for the “two stages” event will be Here Comes the 70s. This is an opportunity for you dress for the 70s and cheer on your favorite band! The Battle will focus on Dance Music and the bands will include many lawyers!

This year will mark the first appearance at Halifax Rock for Dimes for well known East coast rock band Dali Van Gogh. Dali Van Gogh has just released their new record WILD BLUE CITY.

The Rock for Dimes Battle of the Bands will take place at the CUNARD CENTRE, on Marginal Road, with lots of parking for everyone.
