Until today…
The Canadian rock icons today announced that they would return to Citadel Hill on June 27th, as part of the Halifax Music Fest concert series. The events will take place June 27th-29th, with two more concert days to be announced.
Fellow Canadian favourites The Glorious Sons, Big Wreck and Tenille Townes will round out the evening.
General admission and VIP tickets for Halifax Music Fest go on sale Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. at halifaxmusicfest.com.
“Halifax is a great music city, and events of all sizes play a key role in that. As the cultural and economic hub of the region, our city brings people together through unforgettable live experiences,” says Louis Thomas, President and Owner of Sonic Concerts Limited in a release. “We’re very grateful to have been a part of it for 20 years and counting.”
A limited number of general admission single-day tickets for June 27 will be available at a special tier 1 price of $163.70, including tax and service fee, with VIP tickets also on offer. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, March 7, at 10 a.m. Gates open at 4 p.m., show time is 5:30 p.m.
Music Nova Scotia will receive $1 from every ticket sold to support the growth and development of local artists and the industry through education, advocacy and investment.

Halifax Music Fest is a collaboration between Halifax’s Sonic Concerts and St. John’s based Mighty Quinton Concerts.
