For the first time in nearly five years, City and Colour have announced a Canadian arena tour in support of the latest effort “The Love Still Held me Near”. Maritime stops include Moncton’s Avenir Centre February 26th and Halifax’s Scotiabank Centre February 27th.
“City and Colour, acclaimed singer, songwriter and performer Dallas Green, has announced a Canadian arena tour kicking off in Victoria, BC on February 6, 2024 and wrapping up in Halifax, NS on February 27. The tour is in support of Green’s critically praised seventh studio album The Love Still Held Me Near released earlier this year and will be his first cross-Canada tour in five years.” Green’s publicist said in a Monday release.
Joining City and Colour on the 2024 tour will be Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, who’s last Maritime performance was a headlining slot at Harvest Jazz & Blues Festival in 2019, as well as Ruby Waters.
“Last month, Green performed to a sold-out crowd at Budweiser Stage in Toronto. The evening marked his 12th performance at the iconic venue, the most for any Canadian artist with the exception of Blue Rodeo, and the only independent artist to do so.” Continued the release.
