Sonic Concerts today announced the 40th anniversary concert in celebration of Halifax rock station q104. The show takes place at the Scotiabank Centre November 25th.
Sam Roberts Band and The Trews will headline the evening with support from Campbell & Johnston.
“In celebration of a milestone, Q104, Halifax’s Home of Rock ‘n’ Roll, announces the Q104 40th Anniversary Bash featuring Sam Roberts Band, The Trews, and special guest Campbell & Johnston’s Black Market Band – Saturday, Nov. 25 at the Scotiabank Centre in downtown Halifax at 7 p.m.” organizers Sonic Concerts said in a release Tuesday.
Musician Christine Campbell of Campbell & Johnston’s Black Market Band said, “Q104 has been part of the Halifax lexicon for as long as we’ve been alive. We’re honoured to be invited to celebrate their 40th anniversary alongside Canadian rock staples Sam Roberts Band and The Trews, and we’re looking forward to playing music from our upcoming album.”
Advance tickets range from $46 to $68 (including tax and service fee) and will be available at sonicconcerts.com. Additional fee may apply. Doors open at 6 p.m. Show time is 7 p.m.
