Sarah here! I had the chance to chat with Big Wreck front man, Ian Thornley this week smack in the middle of their “In Loving Memory Of…” 20th anniversary tour! We of course chatted about the awesomeness of this debut album, their latest record, “Grace Street,” and getting to work with famed producer Garth Richardson and most important of all – the excitement of playing in Atlantic Canada!

Sarah MacDonald is Atlantic Canada Rock's Managing Editor and Senior Reporter, based in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. Since her inception into Atlantic Canada Rocks in October 2012, she has helped in the organization of various campaigns to bring artists to Atlantic Canada, most notably our "Rush the Hill" campaign which was successful in bringing Rush to Atlantic Canada in 2013. Sarah has since gone on to become nominated for Music PEI's 2024 "Industry Person of the Year" award for her interview series about Music love & Mental Health Awareness. Through this, she's interviewed top-tier artists in the Rock/Metal community such as Lzzy Hale and Joe Hottinger of Halestorm, Jacoby Shaddix of Papa Roach, Eric V. of I Prevail, Ash Costello of New Years Day, Jyl & Jules of The Pretty Wild, Eva (Amanda) if Eva Under Fire, just to name a few.
