Road Trip: Pemberton Music Festival in BC announced for July 14-17, on sale Friday

HUKA Entertainment has revealed that Pemberton Music Festival will return for it’s third year, July 14-17th. Referred to as “Canada’s biggest camping, music and comedy festival”, 2015’s event drew more than 115,000 fans and featured nearly 120 performances by 113 artists over four days. We have covered the festival for the previous two years, and can say that it’s definitely one of the most beautiful places to spend a weekend for a music festival.

“We’re very excited to be returning for a third year to the world’s most beautiful festival setting,” says A.J. Niland, Chairman and Chief Experience Officer of Huka Entertainment. “We look forward to continuing to grow Pemberton Music Festival with world class artists, passionate fans and the welcoming Village of Pemberton.”

A limited supply of Early Bird tickets, which allow fans to purchase advance festival passes at a discount, go on sale Friday, January 15, 2016 at 10:00am PST at PembertonMusicFestival.com.

Early Bird ticket prices start at $270 for four-day General Admission festival passes. Four-day VIP festival passes start at $699, which includes a choice of camping or shuttle. Four-day Super VIP festival passes start at a price of $1,499, which includes a choice of camping or shuttle.

New for 2016, instead of each camper purchasing an individual camping pass, camping passes will now be sold per campsite and will accommodate up to four people. Camping passes are $199 and will be available to purchase with a festival ticket. For campers who choose to drive, parking passes are $29 per car. Shuttle passes will also be available for fans staying in nearby Whistler and are $99 per person.

Also new to camping this year, Pemberton Music Festival campers, when buying their tickets, will choose to camp in either the energetic North Campground or the South Campground, a more relaxing area with closer parking options. The festival site is the dividing line between the two campgrounds.

Full ticketing details and 2016 prices are available now at www.pembertonmusicfestival.com.
