City and Colour, Joel Plaskett Emergency and more to rock Charlottetown July 3-4; on sale Saturday

The initial lineup for the Waterfront Concert Series taking place at the incredible Confederation Landing venue has now been announced by promoter Shift Project & Event Management.

City and Colour, Joel Plaskett Emergency and PEI’s own Paper Lions will take the stage Saturday night, July 4th, with news on Friday July 3rd coming soon.

“Set on the Historic Charlottetown Waterfront, in Confederation Landing Park, the inaugural event is sure to be a memorable one for locals and visitors alike. Though the bands bring a wide international fan-base, the experience will be distinctly East Coast.” organizers said in a release Thursday.

The concert site will feature a main stage and a VIP stage, sponsored by Red Shores. There will be additional performances by Dennis Ellsworth, Whaleskin, Dylan Menzie, and others. Additional events will include a VIP Happy Hour, as well as off-site performances throughout the day, presented in partnership with local restaurants. Official post parties will also be hosted on both nights.

“I’m honoured to be working with the City of Charlottetown and other partners who share a passion and a vision for our City. The 2015 Waterfront Concert Series is the beginning of a long term plan for Shift, where we see tremendous potential for growth in the entertainment and creative industries.” says Mark Fisher President, Shift Project & Event Management Inc.
