Arkells, Laura Roy, Glorious Sons and more announced for Halifax Canada Day show(Free)

Halifax has announced the lineup for their Canada Day concert.

Arkells, Laura Roy, Glorious Sons, Party Boots and Halifax’s own Elephants in Trouble.

“Come join us at events throughout Halifax as we celebrate Canada’s 148th birthday! Halifax has been recognized as the number one tourist destination in Atlantic Canada for July 1. Wear your best red & white, and enjoy a pancake breakfast, sing Oh Canada from the top of Citadel Hill, watch the Tattoo Parade in downtown Halifax and join us for the Maple Lodge Farms Family Fun-Fest on the Commons. Gather your family and friends, and attend the biggest free summer concert of the year featuring Juno Award winners, ARKELLS. The international headline act will be joined by acts from Coast to Coast including “Glorious Sons”, “Party Boots” and Halifax’s own, “Elephants in Trouble!” This will be the biggest Canada Day Concert Alderney Landing has ever hosted and the entertainment is FREE! This incredible free entertainment is concluded with Halifax Harbour FIREWORKS” organizers HRM Civic Events say on their Facebook page.

This is a FREE event, taking place at Alderney Landing, and no reservations are required. All ages are welcome.
