It’s official…details of the Saturday night headliner at the New Glasgow Jubilee are no longer…well, Classified.
Yes, the Nova Scotia native Luke Boyd, better known as Classified will take the Jubilee Stage for Saturday night, August 1st, completing the top card for the festival’s 20th year.
“Classified has become the face and the voice of Canadian Hip Hop, and has definitely transcended the genre. On top of that, he is one of the most entertaining crowd pleasers the Jubilee has seen on the Main Stage over the last decade, and we are pumped to have him back for our 20th anniversary celebrations,” said Carlton Munroe, the festival’s executive director.
In total, twelve acts will grace the Jubilee stage over the July 31-August 2nd Natal day weekend, with details on these opening acts coming in a later release.
Early bird tickets are now on sale at www.ticketpro.ca. “Attendance for the event will be capped at 5,000 per night, so don’t wait until ‘Payday’, get your tickets early. ” the release said.
