Dave Mason, Irish Mythen added to Rod Stewart gig in Cavendish

The wait is finally over! Whitecap Entertainment has announced the opening acts for the Rod Stewart show in Cavendish, which takes place on July 9th, just before the Cavendish Music Festival.

Dave Mason and Irish Mythen will warm up the stage prior to Rod Stewart’s headlining performance.

“Take a journey back to the greatest days of rock with Dave Mason’s sight and sound experience,Traffic Jam. Join Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and co-founder of the legendary band Traffic, Dave Mason for an evening of music history as he retraces the earliest days of his career with Traffic and the works that launched his successful solo career. Mason founded Traffic with Steve Winwood while both were still teenagers, and created music that would find its way into the hearts of generations of music lovers. He would go on to establish himself as a successful songwriter, guitarist and solo artist.

Currently an Islander, but Born and raised in County Wexford, Ireland, Irish Mythenhas travelled the globe — playing in Europe, Australia, the Middle East and the UK. Her music has the root of small communities and the strength of a loyal fan base.
