Organizers with Cape Fest 2014 in Sydney NS today announced that the festival, featuring hard rockers Aerosmith would move forward.
Concerns were raised by music fans following the cancellation of a show due to a health scare with drummer Joey Kramer.
“Cape Fest 2014 is going ahead as planned, the band will resume their tour this Saturday in Washington, DC. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts for Joey.” – organizers said on their Facebook Page.
The festival will take place at Open Hearth Park in Sydney, NS on Friday, September 12. Special guests include, Slash with Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, The Trews, Slowcoaster and Breton Rock.
One day camping is now available at a special price of $50.00 (including tax), and additional days (Thursday or Saturday) will be only $25 per night (including tax).

General admission is $119.75 (plus tax & applicable service charge) and VIP is: $199.75 (plus tax & applicable service charge). VIP tickets give you an up close and personal concert experience right beside the runway and stage, free parking ON SITE, a souvenir lanyard to hold your ticket, upgraded rest room facilities, along with upgraded concession stands, and a VIP entrance onto the grounds.
General Admission is all ages. Single small-sized folding chairs are permitted. Gates open at 2 p.m.
