Country fans are set for an amazing kick off to summer 2014.
Organizers have announced the entire lineup for the 2014 Maritime Countryfest taking place at Officers’ Square in Fredericton NB.
Headlining the event on Saturday June 14th is country music legend Trace Adkins along with American Idol and Dancing with the Stars favorite Kellie Pickler.
For the Friday night edition of the Festival, a familiar group of amazing Canadian artists will perform in an “Ohh Canada” themed evening with Doc Walker, Alan Doyle(Great Big Sea), Chad Brownlee, Small Town Pistols and Tim Hicks.
Local musicians interested in applying for an opening slot at Maritime Countryfest are encouraged to submit online applications through Sonicbids (http://www.sonicbids.com). Submission deadline is February 14, 2014.
Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 11, and are available only online at www.ticketbreak.com (or by calling 1-866-943-8849). Local retail locations will be added at a later date. Ticket pricing for this all-ages event is $65 for Friday and $85 for Saturday. There are also a limited number of festival passes available at $125 (prices include HST).
Get your tickets before they disappear for this great weekend of country music. Up to 5,000 fans are expected to attend per day.
