KISS touring Atlantic Canada in July/August; Saint John, Halifax, and St. Johns.

Early this morning, it was announced on Gene Simmons’ official website that his band, KISS would be touring Canada throughout July and August. This news follows interview accounts from Paul Stanley that the band would undergo a full Canadian tour in support of their new album, “Monster”, released late last year.

Three Atlantic dates will be included in the outing:

JULY 31: SAINT JOHN NB, HARBOUR STATION
AUGUST 1: HALIFAX NS, METRO CENTRE
AUGUST 3: ST. JOHNS NL, MILE ONE CENTRE

These dates will mark the first arena dates in many years, having last played indoor Halifax in 1977. The group previously headlined an outdoor “Halifax Rocks” show on the Commons in 2009, and a headlining appearance at the 2011 Salmon Festival in Newfoundland.

Ticket information will be coming shortly although it’s expected that the usual ticket networks will be used in each city.

The group spent much of 2012 touring with fellow musicians Motley Crue in what has been dubbed “The Tour”, these shows will wrap up next month in Australia.

Stay tuned to ACR for all of the details on the KISS Monster Tour.
