Country music fans will flock to Prince Edward Island next summer for the fifth year in a row.
Organizers with the LOTTO MAX Cavendish Beach Music Festival today announced the return of the event for 2013, unveiling two of the headliners for the spectacular three day music festival taking place July 5-7th 2013.
On Saturday July 6th, country music legend Kenny Chesney will headline the main stage. Chesney’s tour has been regarded as the “Top Stadium Tour of the Year” and “Highest grossing tour of the Summer.”
Also announced is a returning headline appearance by fan favourites Lady Antebellum on July 7th. The “Need You Now” trio is regarded as one of the greatest forces in country music today, breaking show attendance records around the world. Fans have also eagerly awaited their return following the memorable rain filled 2010 show. “Fans tell me all the time that even though it poured rain, they had their best live show experience ever that night. Lady A is a class-act who just knows how to connect with their audience.” festival president Jeff Squires stated in a news release Wednesday.
“With today’s announcements of the biggest touring acts in country music, Kenny Chesney and the return of Lady Antebellum, with 30 + world-class artists yet to be announced, we’re expecting to have the biggest show yet in Cavendish. ” added Squires.
Three day passes go on sale on Friday, November 23rd, 2012 at 10am with an adult price of $169.50 plus tax and service charges. (Child passes are $69.50 plus tax and service charge, 6 and under free. )
A VIP Club pass will be sold for $375.00 plus tax and service. This package includes exclusive partially tented elevated area with tables, chairs, exclusive washrooms, complimentary hors d’oeuvres (daily between 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm), beverage specials within the VIP Club, wait staff, food & beverage service, video monitors, special festival entrance, preferred parking and the VIP Pit with access to the front of the stage barricade (limited capacity for your safety so remember to share with your fellow VIP Club members). The “VIP” Club area is a “licensed” area serving adult beverages. All Children and guests under the age of 19 must have a full priced “VIP” ticket AND must be accompanied by a “parent” at all times while in this area.
Single tickets will go on sale in 2013.

Above pricing is early bird and will remain in effect until after the holiday season.
Previous acts to have graced the Cavendish stage include Taylor Swift, Alabama, Brad Paisley, REBA, and many more. On average, the festival experiences crowds of 60,000 each summer.
Further acts and a Friday night headliner will be announced in 2013.
Sources close to ACR say that Luke Bryan may be looking to take the stage on Friday night. This is a rumour, and remains unconfirmed.
