Today I announce the latest updates for Atlantic Canada Rocks, after we launched in February, the focus was on news and rumours as we were approaching concert announcement season. Now comes the other thing this site was built for, discussion to bring the acts YOU want to Atlantic Canada.
With that in mind, today we shift to discussion, asking who YOU want to see in concert so promoters can see, we did it for AC/DC, Why not do it for another great act?
A dedicated forum section has been set up for 2011 concert discussion, get over there and start discussing!
Today, we also add some new site features:
– Full Facebook Support- Like articles, blog and forum posts, sign into ACR with Facebook and more.
– 2011 Forum Section- Discuss who you want to see in 2011 in Atlantic Canada.
– Meet up forum- Want to meet up with other members at a show, create your parties in the meet up forum!
– Local section expanded to cover all of Atlantic Canada- 7 cities now covered, talk about events at local clubs, or if you are a band promote yourself. Want to get your club a dedicated forum page for FREE with updating event schedules? Email me.
– Safari Reader support for Safari 5 users on Mac and Windows, allowing for uncluttered reading of articles.
– Refinements including easier calendar & news category navigation.
– Faster, Smoother navigation.
