(Cavendish, PE) The Cavendish Beach Music Festival is going on the road! Celebrate the Road to Cavendish with the Tim Hicks tour Shake These Walls, featuring James Barker Band at Casino New Brunswick on Friday, January 27th and the Halifax Forum on Saturday, January 28th, 2017. The inaugural Road to Cavendish series is presented by FX 101.9 Halifax & XL 96.9 Moncton, and
will be a celebration of east coast culture, country music and community!
If anyone is ready for his proverbial close-up, it’s the acclaimed, chart-topping and award-winning artist, Tim Hicks. His presence as a consistently electrifying entertainer on the Canadian music scene may stretch back more than a decade, but his latest and third studio full-length album, the alternately scorching and tender Shake These Walls, scans as strikingly new. Kicking off the evening is Ontario-crafted country outfit James Barker Band- their debut single “Lawn Chair Lazy,” was written by band front man, James Barker, along with fellow Canadians Gavin Slate and Travis Wood.
